In our lesson program we teach each student how to ride and care for their horse to
the best of their ability. Horseback riding can be so much more to a child than just a
1/2 time block each week. Some students spend a whole week thinking about their
next lessons, we recognize this and strive to put as much devotion into each lesson
that is taught.
As students grow and gain skills that will enable them to independently tack-up and
prepare for their lessons we encourage them to arrive early and enjoy riding for their
whole lesson.
A wonderful moment for an instructor is the time when a child goes from being a
student to becoming part of the "barn crew". From the very first lesson you can see
utter amazement on a child's face as they watch one of our older students riding
around. As the years go by one day that child will ride just like the student they had
been so amazed by. That is the day when an instructor helps make a dream come true.
